Voom Brings Urban Street Glamour To Fashion

L.A. Fashion Week continues and we were front and center for the “Le Carnaval International De Rue” Spring ‘07 Collection for one of our favorite clothing lines Voom. We are big fans and were truly excited to see what Spring had to offer by designer Joy Han.

Voom presented an array of color throughout the show which brought liveliness to each outfit bringing out the fun in every girl. Most of the dresses and tops had colorful images of animals and cool graphics which left us begging for more. The dominant colors throughout the show were green, blue, red, yellow and black.

From bedtime wear, street wear, beach wear to evening wear its seemed like Voom had it all. The collection had an influence of Tokyo’s pop culture with a 70’s retro vintage flare. From the retro flower designs to, bubble skirts, puffy sleeve dresses and baby doll gowns, Voom definitely brings out the fun in what you wear.

The biggest trend for spring will be silk warp around dresses and Kimonos so be prepared. Another popular trend we saw at Voom, that will be huge for Spring is visors, no matter how glamorous your outfit looks it wont be complete with a cool visor. A trend in accessories which will be found on clothing to purses is Owls. Also expect to see pock a dots and stripes which will make you feel like you are on vacation. Voom is a clothing line which symbolizes urban street chic for the everyday modern girl, which is what our generation is all about.
