Valentino Sets Trend With Final Show

After 45 years of designing haute couture Valentino Garavani handed in his keys to the fashion world. His last collection for Spring 08 is by far his best; it was classic Valentino with a new modern flare. It may be his last show but the designer isn’t leaving us without a goodbye gift, here are the four must have trends for spring.

Put away that black dress because this spring it's all about the pastels shades. Not just any shades, the look is about mixing different strokes of colors in an a-symmetrical fashion.

The bigger the bow the better! From shoes, purses, tops, pants, coats to couture dresses, bows are going to be all over the place.

Polka dots:

Get ready to connect those dots, because polka dots are making a big comeback. If you’re not a big fan of polka dots, Valentino was thinking of you when he designed it on sheer fabrics, some of which could hardly be seen.

Valentino Red:

What’s a Valentino show without his infamous vibrant red gowns? Red is going to be a huge color this coming spring; unfortunately, no designer will ever be able to recreate 'Valentino Red' the way he did, you'll be missed V!
