Trend Alert: Side Strap Handbags

The side-strap handbag has become a must have item for Hollywood starlets. It’s a must-have TREND for the summer. Miu-Miu and Prada seem to have added a long strap for every bag in the spring/summer collection. The nice thing about the side strap is that it’s much more comfortable and a lot safer. I don’t know about you guys but when I go out at night I'm always in fear of losing my clutch, but with a side-strap, the bag is basically glued to you.

Stars that are big fans of the style are Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson and even Naomi Watts was seen sporting one over the weekend while shopping at the Farmer’s Market.

If you wanna splurge go get yourself a Miu-Miu or Prada handbag with the side-strap, but if you are on a budget Forever 21 is the way to go.

Ah, fashion! It's always good to know what the new styles are! Just as a side-note, experts now say that women SHOULD NOT carry bags with straps going diagonally across their chests in urban areas, shopping malls, tourist attractions or airports. If someone tries to steal your purse, they'll ALSO end up trying to rip your head off, potentially causing big-time injuries. You are better off having your bag slung over 1 shoulder. Besides, unless you're built perfectly, the bag on your hip is going to make your hips look wider, and if you DO have anything "extra" down there, you might find the bag under your armpit! LOL

i think that ashlee simpson is just a sleezy hoe-bag and she does it just for attention. Im mean gawd she has it all famous life, HOTT boyfriend, and loads of cash. but seriously, what more does she need a little baby running around? she'll probaly jsut get it aborted anyway.
