The Fall of YSL

October 06, 2006

It's a sad day for fashion. Fashion icon and Hollyscoop favorite Yves Saint Laurent collapsed on the road outside his boutique earlier today in Paris, just hours after his latest show. The 70-year-old designer fell down near the Champs Elysee.

We don't have word on his condition but we'll keep you updated as soon as we get word.

Update: according to a spokesman for Foundation Yves St. Laurent, "Monsieur Yves Saint Laurent is very well, very very well. He slipped in the street. It was a hard fall but just a simple, common, ordinary accident that could happen to anyone"

He's already checked out of the hospital and is currently at home recuperating from the fall.

He's doing fine...very, very fine. It was a normal fall that could happen to anyone. It wasn't due to his health. There is more to this article on People.com.
