Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz made a strong closing with his spring collection, bringing in his sense of modernity, technology, and romance. This collection was a personal departure from his last season’s fifties-flavored illusionism. Alber brought in linear pantsuits, lean tailoring and its plethora of crunched silk, form-skimming silk or charmeuse-draped dresses. Jet black designs with a splash of silver are sure to be a hot trend for the next season.
