Last night Hollyscoop hosted a special Fashion Week wrap up event at LOTUS club. As a “Top Five New York City Hotspot,” Lotus offers mouth-watering unique Urban Asian, Thai-influenced cuisine and some of the best cocktails that NY has to offer. Celebrities, fashionistas, and locals frequently flock to his Hotspot in Manhattan’s trendy Meatpacking District for a swanky dinner followed by a long night of partying.
The highlight of our night was getting a chance to finally meet fashion and nightlife guru, Richie Rich. He has to be one of the sweetest, most down to earth, eccentric people we’ve ever met. We shared some drinks and traded some dance moves until the wee hours of the night.
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs even made a cameo at the club, but unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to meet him in person or get a photo op. Greg Kinnear from the Oscar nominated flick “Little Miss Sunshine” was also spotted in the crowd but he was too quick for our eye (Thank God for scoopers) and last but certainly not least, Olympic figure skater Oksana Baiul stopped by to say hello.
It was definitely a long night of drinks, dancing, and delicious Thai food. We were really excited about getting a chance to catch up with all you NY readers, so thanks to everyone who stopped by last night…hopefully there’ll be more where that came from!
