London fashion week is in full swing. One of the most anticipated shows was the Julian McDonald Fall '07 fashion collection which brought in supermodel Naomi Campbell. Naomi strutted her stuff down the catwalk and fortunately for the audience members there was no hissy fits or objects being thrown.
The line was all about black and white. There were a few metallic evening gowns but the rest of the collection was all about dark pieces mixed with some lights. Julian is known for her repetitive use of fur, although it’s not highly receptive by PETA or other animal rights groups, that doesn’t stop Julian from using animals in his show.
Julian’s Fall collection featured a lot of ruffles which made us reminisce of the flapper era. There was a lot of bows and black tights, short ruffled skirts, headbands, sequence and satin…and that’s the fashion scoop from London!
