Galliano Takes Us On the Orient Express

Fashion

The best of the best have been introducing their spring/summer haute couture creations. John Galliano put on an extravagant display of “Oriental Splendor” for the house of Dior, which was inspired by a recent trip to Japan.

He created plenty of kimono-style dresses, featuring origami-effect pleating and hand-painted silk. The models had geisha make-up and platform shoes while working the runway.

The color scheme for Galliano was a lot of fuchsia, lime Green, and coral-hued satin gowns. Overall, his collection dazzled the catwalk.
