Frankie B. Believes In High Waisted Jeans

Fashion

Denim line Frankie B. , best known for the hip hugging low waistline jeans is now moving the trend to another direction. Last night we caught the Spring 07 collection of Frankie B. and we were surprised to see high waist jeans with wide bottoms. The wide-legged denims were highly dominant in the show, bringing back the 70’s flare from “Charlie’s Angels”. These jeans are super hot and will definitely be THE TREND in the springtime.

Now don’t get too alarmed, skinny jeans are still IN, but they get as tight as they can be. Lets think skintight jeans! The skinny jeans were hot with different types of designs and graphics. Simple blue or black was not a common theme in the skinnies, but graphics such as stripes and shiny denim were. Note to all the men reading: skinny jeans are “in” for men as well!

Another look that was prevalent throughout the show was animal print. Instead of leopard print, which is in for the fall season, Frankie B. was all about the zebras for Spring. Our personal favorite was the short couture shorts matched with suspenders. We can’t wait to get our hands on that one!

At the show we bumped into Jillian Barberie, Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon, Taryn Manning, Samaire Armstrong and funny girl Niecy Nash.

NEVER again will I wear high-waisted jeans. I don't like them super low, but they are so much more flattering when they lay on hips....at least mine.

YES!!!!! Finally were seeing some good taste back on jeans. It's about time to put an end on the ugly-ass looking and the butt-crack epidemic that has been sweeping everywhere with the awful looking low-rise style. A lot of people will protest the re-emergence of this style but eventually it will be accepted.

Somars, you prolly have a big ol' wide ass, which is why you can't pull off the lowrise look. Stick to karate pants and scrubs.
