Farrah Fawcett is reportedly in grave condition just days after longtime love
Ryan O'Neal announced that the couple were getting married.
Family and friends are asked to visit her to say their final goodbyes as she fights for her life. A priest was summoned to Farrah's bedside on Wednesday to read the devout Catholic her last rites.
"It was just related to me, that our Farrah just given last rites. She is not in any pain. For those who believe make contact with God now," her public relations agency posted on Twitter.
As Hollyscoop had previously reported Farrah was rushed to the hospital earlier this week and has been in critical condition.
According to several media outlets, Ryan is trying to get their son
Redmond O'Neal, who is currently serving jail time, a temporary leave of absence so he can say his final goodbye to his mother.
Ryan was also hoping that she would recover enough for them to finally tie the knot before she passed. "I've asked her to marry me again, and she's agreed," he told Barbara Walters for a
20/20 interview scheduled to air tomorrow.
Fawcett has been fighting anal cancer since her diagnosis three years ago.
