Redmond O'Neal announced this morning in an open court that his mother
Farrah Fawcett weighs only 86 pounds.
He is in court today to beg the judge for leniency on his sentencing for violating terms of his probation stemming from a dirty drug test while in rehab.
Redmond told Judge Wellington this morning, "I want to be there for my mom. My mom only weighs 86 pounds right now and I'm sorry your honor," reports
Radar.
The judge asked Redmond if he was serious this time around about getting treatment, which Redmond assured him he was. We hope for his sake that he is telling the truth. That kid is such a screw up, and needs get his life together.
The judge ordered Redmond to stay in custody until April 30th, after which he will be sentenced to rehab. It’s obvious Redmond was using his mother’s sickness to try and get out of jail, and we’re relieved the judge saw through it.
Based on his track record, he’d probably be back at Chateau Marmont tonight doing drugs, not staying with his mother. Hopefully this time around in rehab will do the trick!
