Great news for
Farrah Fawcett fans--she was released from the hospital Thursday and is now resting at home.
Farrah left the Los Angeles hospital she had been staying at since April 2nd with her longtime companion Ryan O'Neal after being treated for internal bleeding not directly related to her cancer.
"Farrah was discharged [Thursday] afternoon from the hospital and is at home. She was accompanied by Ryan," her treating physician, Dr. Lawrence Piro, tells
People.
"The pain from the hematoma has improved tremendously. She's walking and in great in spirits and looking forward to celebrating Easter at home," Piro added.
"Her home has been stocked with her favorite teas and food and she's looking forward to enjoying them."
While it's great that she's going to be home in time for Easter, the couples son Redmond is currently in jail after he was busted again for drugs.
This family has been cursed with bad luck this past year. We wish Farrah a speedy recovery and hope to see her back on her feet and better than ever real soon.
