Thanks to billionaire businessman Kirk Kerkorian,
Farrah Fawcett enjoyed a little extra time with her close friends and family members.
Kerkorian funded Farrah's trip to Germany back in 2007 so she can seek alternative treatment for her anal cancer.
Farrah's trip was documented by Craig Nevius who at the time said, "She has been in Germany. That's true. She's getting alternative treatments not allowed in the U.S."
And now we know who was the generous man who made it all possible.
A rep for the 92-year-old mogul confirms to the New York Daily News that he helped to pay for Fawcett's medical care.
A source tells the publication, "He just saw a friend in pain and wanted to help."
How generous of Kerkorian! Unfortunately we lost Farrah to anal cancer on June 25th, but clearly she touched so many people’s lives during her short time with us.
