Kat Von D Sets The Record Straight

L.A. Ink star Kat Von D is learning the hard way that fame can be a pain in the ass. Last week another tattoo artist, Chris Garver from Miami Ink, told TMZ that he had personally been handed a headshot of Kat that read, "Burn in hell Jewbag" to give to her friend Ami, who is Jewish. We caught up with Kat at the Warner Music Grammy after party and got the real scoop behind all this mess.

Kat said that “its really horrible..we’ve been trying to figure out how to deal with that, it’s a federal offense….to forgery and all that...we don’t take that lightly.

“Ami and Chris Garver went to TMZ and..…had a little plan to do this…its really scary on what might happen to them.”

Kat told Hollyscoop that the headshot was definitely forged and it was all a scheme. Kat also said that “its really sad that people have to stick to those levels sometimes”.

If the headshot was in fact forged, this just proves that if you’re in the limelight you can’t trust anyone. If she did in fact sign the headshot, Kat could say goodbye to her reality show career.

Even IF she wrote this signature, which I highly doubt, she may do and or say some (considered by cookie cutter normalcy) pretty stupid stuff, But there is no way she would write something like this to give to somebody. But the most important detail about this whole fabrication is, that IF Chris Garver was given this photo as stated by "TMZ" there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY GARVER WOULD EVER CONSIDER GIVING THAT PHOTO TO WHOEVER IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY DESIGNED FOR ESPECIALLY AMI NO MATTER WHO ASKED HIM TOO. Garver would never get himself involved or let himself be a part of something like this. Garver is way to emotional and intelligent. so watch both shows because they both have alot to offer. No one has ever said that you HAVE to like or respect a person in order to appreciate their talent or art. Would anyone really decide to never buy an album of really great music that you really love just because a member of that band said something you disagreed with or has different extremist views than you? Oasis were total and still are complete pricks and aholes but Im not going stop listening to morningglory because he's called other bands I like names. That's just stupid.

i agree. i like kat and all but you cant argue with the fact that chris garver wouldnt make shit up. besides if it wasnt for him no one would know who kat was.

Chris Garver is well respected in the industry, and known for being a trustworthy and stand-up guy. I sincerely doubt he would make something like this up as part of some "scheme" against Kat Von D - she's just trying to cover her tacks.
