Sources are telling Hollyscoop that singer Brandy and Tyrese Gibson are reportedly engaged. The two have been on and off for years now but apparently they are back on.
Tyrese popped the question at a party held at Brandy's house two weekends ago. Brandy was hosting a baby shower for a friend at her house when Tyrese made a surprise appearance only to ask Brandy for her hand in marriage.
A source at the party tells Hollyscoop that, "the baby shower turned out to be an engagement celebration with their close friends and family later that night."
Talk about keeping things under the radar, no one even knew these two were dating let alone serious enough to get engaged.
Update: Brandy's rep just told Hollyscoop that "the story is not true. The shower was for Tyrese and his girlfriend who is pregnant." So much for the eyewitness at the party!
This story however just got weirder. Brandy is hosting a party for her ex-boyfriend's current girlfriend?
