Borat A Diva?

Exclusives!

Has actor Sacha Baron Cohen turned into a D-I-V-A-? Hollyscoop has learned exclusively through our sources that the star is taking his fame to his head. The Borat actor turned up to his own movie screening on Friday at the Loberto theatre in Santa Barbara for the film festival and refused to take pictures for the media.

Not only did he refuse to be snapped by the photogs, but he didn’t answer any questions as well. The actor wouldn’t get out of his car unless all cameras, videos, microphones were put away. Sources say camera phones were not allowed inside the theatres, unless anyone tried to take a picture of the actor.

Do you think Hollywood has gone to Borat’s head or is this another plot for his upcoming flick “Bruno”? Tell us what you think.

He's just not wanting to be recognized so that when he films Bruno, people won't recognize him and he can still play his pranks and be in character...geeze...

theres so many lawsuits going on about the movie i think its for his own good he stays away from media just incase someone starts asking all the right questions and he has no answer for them. when he is in character he has a repetitive source of ways he talks and answers questions, so being himself is more difficult i guess.

I realize this is a gossip column, but don't journalists do *any* research these days? This is not a new change due to his recent success. Sacha been a celebrity for years and he has *always* had this policy about avoiding photos and interviews when he's out of character. He has still never consented to an out of character interview in Britain. He likes his privacy and every bit of exposure also makes his in character "undercover" work more difficult. He's quite generous with photos when he's in character.

I second the first posting and furhter add that not everybody who ends up in hollywood is hooked on the paparazzi sh*t. Not everybody wants to be picked on on the cover of People or any other of those magazines...
