There were rumors circulating on the internet that Eva Mendes was hooking up with her co-star Joaquin Phoenix.

The actress has been dating director George Garguerevice for the past five years but is constantly being linked to her co-stars. Mendes finally put those romance rumors to rest.

She says, "God, we went out to dinner together. We were working together so, of course, you'd go out and have a meal after work. Why wouldn't you? I'm a grown woman! Do you think I'd be making out with somebody? I stopped doing that when I was 14. Yuck!"
