Eva Mendes Doesn't Take Rehab Lightly

It's become a bit of a joke with so many celebrities entering rehab lately, but Eva Mendes doesn't take the subject lightly. In a recent sit-down with Interview Magazine, she set the reporter straight when he joked that Alcoholics Anonymous should be switched to Alcoholics Unanimous.

Eva replied, "I'm not making jokes, because people die from this stuff. So, honestly, I think it's a bit tacky that you made a joke. I've got to be honest."

Eva also defended herself and the many people who do seek treatment, saying, "I'm proud of people who have the determination and the fearlessness to actually go and face their demons and get better. This is a life or death situation."

Well she told him! We're glad to hear that Eva is able to open up about herself personally and has no problem admitting to her problems. Cuz we all got 'em!
