Eva Mendes has just been named the Global Pleasure Ambassador. And before you go thinking that sounds like a porn-related project, let us clear it up. It’s for an ice cream brand.
Eva’s been recruited by Magnum ice cream (second porn reference!) to work alongside the company’s Professor of Pleasure.
They’re apparently in the middle of conducting a study into the causes of happiness, and believe sweet treats may be one of them. We’ll go out on a limb and agree with them there.
Eva’s really excited about her new gig. She says, "I’m really happy to be Magnum’s Pleasure Ambassador because I am a huge chocolate fan. And I’m also a big pleasure seeker and believe in guiltless pleasure. If you’re going to do it then just enjoy every second of it, life’s too short!"
Magnum knows how to pick great ambassadors for their projects. Prior to Eva, they hired
Eva Longoria for one of their campaigns, which ended up boosting sales by 10 percent!
Eva’s going to be hosting a Pleasure Summit in Europe next month, so we’ll have to keep an eye on this one. It just sounds so strange!
