Eva Longoria to Waitress for Charity

'Desperate Housewives' star Eva Longoria will trade in her designer dubs for an apron to waitress as part of a charity meant to raise money for emergency workers injured in 9/11.

The event will benefit the New York Rescue Workers Detox Project, which will benefit emergency workers who were injured during the 2001 World Trade Centre terror attack.

Longoria will sport an apron and cater a meal for 12, which will be donated by her restaurant Beso.

After her name was attached to the project, bidding for the item went up to $37,500!

And that's not all, auction winner will also get a pair of tickets to watch her husband Tony Parker play against his opponents. How sweet is that?
