Maksim Carrying a Baseball Bat to Protect Erin Andrews

Erin Andrews has probably gotten a better night’s sleep the past couple of days. As you know, her peeping Tom stalker was just sentenced to two and a half years in prison. And having him behind bars is a big relief for Erin.

Hollyscoop spoke with the ESPN reporter-turned-dancer last night at Wednesday's Drai's Hollywood grand opening event in West Hollywood, where told us how she really feels about the stalker’s sentencing. “It should have been more years,” she told us.

But Erin admits she’s learned a lot about the price celebrities pay living in the spotlight. And unfortunately in the world we live it, that territory usually comes with a stalker! Erin continued, “It’s been a life changing experience.”

Her Dancing With the Stars partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy isn’t taking any chances though! Like a good man, he’s ready strike if any creeper gets too close to Erin. He told Hollyscoop, “I’m carrying a baseball bat with me.”

Erin’s a lucky woman! Her stalker is in prison, and now she’s teamed up with one of the hottest bachelors in Hollywood, on one of the highest-publicized shows on TV! That’s definitely the silver lining!

I understand that this was a very scary thing for her but she needs to move on from this, if she keeps on with it people are going to think she using this for votes on dwts.

Poor girl. I guess now she has to remember to put masking tape on all hotel room key holes. Unfortunately, this guy will get out in a couple years and probably try to do it all over again... or Worse.
