The best things in life are free and yesterday Enrique Iglesias made that statement ring true! Enrique performed a free concert yesterday on the release day of his new album, 'Insomniac'. The first 500 fans to purchase his new album at Virgin Records on Hollywood and Highland were able to meet Enrique after the concert and get their cd’s signed. Luckily for us, our Hollyscoop correspondent Tara Smoker was front and center and here is her scoop on what went down.
To say that he is charismatic is an understatement. This man has been blessed with the gift of being both charming and sensual. He has the ability to connect with every person he comes into contact with.
As I approached Enrique with my friend to get our albums signed it was endearing to see my friend go speechless in front of his hero. Enrique did not say anything but reached out and took my friends hand. It was very giving moment from a very generous man.
Of course I couldn’t let the Hollyscoop.com readers down and just had to ask how many girls he had made faint that day! A shy boyish smile crossed over his face as he answered, “Whew, I don’t know!”
It’s clear that he is passionate about his music and connecting with his fans. I think after today, it’s safe to say his fans feel this album was well worth the wait. Make sure to grab his latest album “Insomniac” because were pretty sure it will keep you up at nights.
