The Top 5 LOL Moments At The 2012 Emmys
So the 64th Annual Emmys happened last night. Did you watch it? Nope. That’s fine. Here are the five most LOL worthy moments at the 2012 Emmys.

Seth McFarlane’s Microphone Incident‬ - “Family Guy” creator Seth McFarlane walked onstage to announce the reality show host winner but was only mouthing the words as he wasn’t standing in front of a mic. Finally he realized his snafu and marched over to an actual mic-stand. Talking in his “Stewie” voice he joked, “This is what happens when you don’t come to rehearsal. That’s gonna be on YouTube.” And of course, it is.

Aziz Ansari Is British? - “Parks And Recreation” funnyman Aziz Ansari decided to adopt a phony British accent when he announced the award for best writing for a Variety Series because he says “Hollywood takes you more seriously when you have a British accent.” He joked, “From acting in a London play all the way to Hollywood. It’s bloody brilliant. Fish and Chips.” The best part was when the camera cut away to the known Brit actors in the audience i.e. Clive Owen and Nicole Kidman, who is definitely Australian. Way to fail, camera guy.

Josh Groban Sings One Direction - Usually at every awards show they play a montage of all the industry veterans that died that year while a famed pianist plays a sad tune. Last night, the “In Memoriam” bit played only footage of the show’s host Jimmy Kimmel while Josh Groban played and sang One Direction’s hit song, “What Makes You Beautiful.” Of course, later in the show, they did a real “In Memoriam” montage.

Tracy Morgan’s Prank? – Jimmy Kimmel and Tracy Morgan decided to pull a semi-hilarious prank in order to get everyone off of Twitter and actually watch the Awards show. Tracy laid down onstage while Jimmy told the audience, “everyone, tweet “OMG Tracy Morgan just passed out at the Emmys! Turn on ABC now!” Too bad, nobody tweeted it.

Jon Stewart’s F Bomb – Jon Stewart has swept the Best Variety Show category for the past ten years and yet again won the coveted award. After fighting off Steven Colbert and Jimmy Fallon in the aisle before he made his way onstage he delivered a funny speech and then told the audience how in the future, a bunch of aliens will find a box of Jon’s old Emmy statuettes “and they will know how predictable these F-cking things are!” Woops, watch the bleep action here.
