Emma Watson: The New Face of Chanel

Aside from starring in the super successful Harry Potter films, actress Emma Watson has scored herself a contract to be the new face of French fashion house, Chanel.

Emma, who is only 17 years old, will reportedly get around $4 million for the lucrative contract, reports British newspaper the Daily Express.

While doing her PR rounds around the world for the latest installment of "Harry Potter," Watson showed up on the red carpet wearing a different Chanel dress each time. Must be nice right? I have a feeling we're going to be seeing A LOT more of this teen queen.

Hey blah, I think it's obscene Dakota (no talent) Fanning gets the big bucks too. My point being these kids have no clue to how the world really works. They join the ranks of the spoiled brats that just party most of the time.

She's absolutely gorgeous. Any bickering about her success is just sour grapes. Get over it - how on earth can you judge her character when I very much doubt you've ever met her. Just because she's young and making a lot of money does NOT mean she automatically will join the ranks of hard-partying drug-taking kids. Grow up.

For the people who are stating that Dakota doesn't have any talent i just want to say that i would love to see Emma Watson playing roles like Lupita (man on fire) or Emily (hide and seek). Don't take me wrong but Dakota deserves all the money that She is making with Her tallent and i'm pretty sure that She will have a bright and decent future as a star. As for emma, i don't know. hmmm seems a little unbelievable, CHANEL? Emmas pretty but shes not CHANEL. and if she is in a campaign shes going have a hard time following Keria and Nicole and the other models CHANEL uses. but good luck to her anyway, but id rather see somebody like jessica Alba doing Chanel, shes a knockout! Dakota btw kicks Emma's ass,she's ao young and and is a much better actor. Although i do love the potter films and characters Emma's acting i believe lacks some potential and in places overacts, shes improving though. Sorry hardcore fans of HP, but really how many other movie deals has she signed onto?

How can you say she is a spoit brat when she has been working non stop since she was nine years old. I dont know a nine year old that can concentrate for 5 minutes let alone 8 YEARS. she has grown up beautifully, and although she may not be the best actress in the world she deserves everything that comes her way.

Oh please, she's 18! She's not a baby. I'm not agree with what Dakota's parents are allowing to her little girl. But Emma is free to do what she want to! And what girl doesn't get drunk when she's going out? If anybody thinks the opposite, he/she is BLIND! Emma has talent, she's very pretty. Why not work for Chanel? Every woman of the world would want to be on her skin.

Oh my god. Stop whining: She's 18, cute as hell and have her whole career in front of her feet. I would have appreciated if she waited some years since she is still not the typical "chanel woman". But if I were a girl I would definitely wear "her" perfume, just because it's hers. Since I am a guy I'll just buy it to my girlfriend. Although I wish her luck in her entire career and hope that she will keep her feet on the ground in the future. Good luck!
