Emma Stone has remained pretty tight-lipped about her maybe/possibly relationship with her Amazing Spider-man costar, Andrew Garfield. Well, the cat's out of the bag, as the two were spotted in NYC walking hand-in-hand.
Stone and Garfield walked through East Village in New York City on Sunday, and it was the first time the pair has shown any type of affection in public. Ain't that cute. They also laughed and joked together, looking very much the happy couple as they walked the streets of New York City. Emma and Andrew have attended several events together in the past week, but they refused to be photographed together on the red carpet. I guess these two are learning Hollywood's relationship rules at an early age.
On Saturday, the two were spotted kissing and buying jelly donuts at the Donut Pub, according to a source. It's always nice to get to that point in your relationship where you don't mind making out while shoving a jelly donut in your face.
The couple have been rumored to be dating since Spring 2011, and back in September, the actress told Teen Vogue why she loves her costar:
"Andrew is one of the most giving actors I've ever worked with," she said. "If I needed to get to a place of love or sadness in a scene, he'd leave messages on my phone to replay, or slip in lines off camera for a different reaction than what was scripted. He gave me so much to react to."
The two both star in the upcoming flick, The Amazing Spider-Man.
Meanwhile, Emma Stone says she fears she's frightened off her idol, Diane Keaton. Stone talks about Keaton a great deal in interviews, crediting her role in Annie Hall with her interesting in acting.
"I haven't met her," Emma told Stylist magazine. "But I talk about her so damn much that he's probably scared of me. I talk about her literally every day."
Emma continues: "She's probably a little freaked out by me, so maybe it's a better idea not to meet her because she's probably going to have to get some sort of restraining order at this point. I'm kidding, I promise I am no threat."
So what's with her infatuation?
"I just think she's so beautiful because she is so quintessentially Diane," Stone explains. "I think that's kind of amazing."
