Eminem has been getting so much press this week! It all started Sunday at the MTV Movie Awards when Sacha Baron Cohen lowered himself, ass-first, into Eminem’s face. As
Hollyscoop previously reported, it was all planned, and Eminem was in on the whole thing.
In an interview with Rap Radar, Eminem explained how the entire stunt came about. He said, “Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I’m a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag.”
Eminem further proved that it was not a spontaneous act by adding,
“I’m thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going ‘nuts’ so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it.”
Eminem may not be as uptight as he seems on the exterior, because he told Rap Radar, “After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about 3 hours. Especially after I saw it on air.”
In other Eminem news, he says the story about him being robbed was almost completely fabricated. Yesterday it was being reported that Eminem’s hotel room was burglarized, and the thief took his personal laptop, and a diamond necklace.
But Eminem cleared up the rumor, saying, “The only thing was that I lost a Nike watch that we were looking for. The rest it is made-up like half the other stuff out there.”
