And just like every other “Bachelor” or “Bachelorette” couple before them (except for two), Emily Maynard and Jef Holm have decided that their fake relationship had run it’s course, and by that, the agreed that the months in which they’d awkwardly have to hold hands and pose for photos is finally over.
“Freedom!” says Jef, presumably.
Emily told People, “I am sorry to tell you that Jef and I have, indeed, parted ways. It was a very difficult and heartbreaking decision.”
First of all, he spells his name with one “f,” that should have been a deal breaker from Day 1.
“I have nothing but respect and love for Jef and his family,” Emily continues, “But ultimately we are just at different points in our lives.”
Those different points being…Jef was the best option for a fake-boyfriend out of that LA Casting mess they gave me to select from on the “Bachelorette.”
As for Jef, here’s what he had to say about the break-up, “What we shared was completely genuine and real and it breaks my heart but we have decided to break up.”
And just to reinforce how “real” their love was, here’s Jef again, “Everyone wants a salacious story to break, but the truth is we are just two people who fell in love and tried our hardest to make it work. I will always love her.”
That salacious story being that Jef’s ex-GF came forward and said that Emily was caught sexting Footballer Matt Leinart so Emily bribed Jef to stay with her and to not rat her out to the media.
Anyways, these two are donzo. When does the next season of the "Bachelor" start?
