Elton John and his hubby David Furnish are finally ready to hop on the adoption bandwagon.
The couple, who got married back in 2005, are finally considering adopting, mostly because it's always been David's dream to be a father.
“David and I have always talked about adoption,” Elton told Reuters.
“David always wanted to adopt a child and I always said, ‘No’, because I am 62 and I think because of the traveling I do and the life I have, maybe it wouldn’t be fair for the child.”
Elton and David were in Ukraine together and David was seen holding a 14 month girl named Liv, which apparently was the reason Elton agreed to becoming a father.
“But having seen Lev today, I would love to adopt him,” the star added.
“I don’t know how we do that but he has stolen my heart. And he has stolen David’s heart and it would be wonderful if we can have a home.I’ve changed my mind today.”
When you have that much love to give, why not adopt? We're sure Elton and David can give a little child a life they could have only dreamed about.
