Elton John has a biopic in the works, and there’s a big star set to play him in the movie. And no, it’s not Lindsay Lohan.

Elton husband, David Furnish, has confirmed that Justin Timberlake is indeed in talks to play the ‘Rocket Man’ singer in an upcoming biopic.

Furnish told E! News: ''We're search for a director. It's important we all share the same vision.
Somebody is definitely not a member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.

Madonna was nominated against Sir Elton John at the Golden Globes last night for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture and after she took home the Globe, Elton John’s husband David Furnish WENT OFF on Facebook declaring, “Madonna. Best Song??? F-ck off!!”

That’s not all he wrote, “Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit.

Most people have a godparent, it's usually a close friend of your parents. When someone asks you to be the godparent of their child it's a huge honor or it's code for "You have to be available to baby sit, no questions asked."

Here are some celebs that might surprise you are godparents too.

Lady Gaga: Lady Gaga is the godmother to Elton John's son. Gaga and Elton met last January when they performed together at the Grammy's and collaborated on "Gnomeo and Juliet" and I guess the rest is history.

Elton John: Elton John is the godfather to both the Beckham boys, Brooklyn and Romero. Their godmother is Liz Hurley. This is like a who's who of diva UK royalty.

Ashamed of your middle name? Well, don’t feel too bad, it could be Columcille. Yep, that’s Mel Gibson’s middle name. No wonder the guy is so angry all the time. He sounds like he’s been named after a cough medicine.

Sometimes celebs change their names, and with these bizarre monikers, who can blame them? Check out these celebrity middle names, and see whether they’re myth or fact!

Matt Paige Damon: Fact! It was his mother’s middle name, but I doubt childhood bullies cared.

Justin Marie Bieber: Myth! Bieber’s middle name is actually Drew. His girlfriend Selena Gomez’s middle name is Marie, however.

Star Bourbon Jones: Myth! But that’d be an awesome middle name, right? Star’s name is actually Starlet Marie Jones. She was born to be a diva.

Amy Winehouse had a really public battle with her drug and alcohol problems, overdosing in 2007 from heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and crystal meth. Her addictions got the best of her, but that didn’t stop Amy from becoming one of the most prominent artists of our time. Sadly, her most famous hit would become an ironic memento of her life.

Russell Brand took to his website to post a tribute to Amy, which doubled as an important message about the nature of addiction. So many celebs have struggled with drug and alcohol abuse. Sometimes they get the help they need, and other times, it’s too late.

Elton John: Elton’s addictions to alcohol and cocaine took their toll in 1975, when he overdosed during “Elton Week” in Los Angeles. He now cites getting sober as his greatest accomplishment.

The thought of a commoner becoming a Princess sounds like a fairytale, but the truth is Kate Middleton is in for a bumpy ride—and Elton John commends her for going through with the wedding.

Elton was really good friends with Princess Diana and remembers her struggles, and while he’s sure Diana would loved Kate, she thinks she’s in for a difficult life.

He said: "I hope everyone celebrates for them, whether they agree with the monarchy or not. It's about two people falling in love and getting into a situation, for her especially, where it's going to be the most difficult life. I mean, let's face it, we know what that kind of marriage entails, and the press never leave you alone, the courtiers ... I admire her for going through with it.

Here ye, here ye, you are cordially invited to the royal wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William. Okay maybe not. But the royal wedding list was released and the guest list is pretty impressive.

So who got a royal invite? Princes Diana’s good friend Sir Elton John and husband David. David and Victoria Beckham were also invited. Madonna's ex-hubby, Guy Ritchie, will be attending. Joss Stone and British television presenter Ben Fogle and Mr. Bean star Rowan Atkinson are also guests.

The Queen, Prince Charles, Prince Harry and leading royals will be seated on the front row of Westminister Abbey. The Middleton family will be on the front row of the church.
HOLLYSCOOP EXCLUSIVE

Lady Gaga has a new, and very important, role—playing Godmother to Elton John and husband David Furnish’s new son Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John. Whoa, that’s a long name!

Elton confirmed that great news to Barbara Walters in an upcoming interview on Good Morning America. “Yes, yes she is.” Babs already knew the news and kept it a secret. But than again, we all already knew.

Gaga seems a little out there. So why would he trust her of all people with his only son?

"When you get to the real person under there, there's a real simple person under there who loves her parents."

Added Furnish: "Zachary's going to inherit an incredible musical legacy from his father one day, and she will be a good person to guide him through the ins and outs of the music business, 'cause she sure knows everything about the business now."

What a lucky kid! He has Elton John as his Dad and Gaga as his Godmother. He’s pretty much set for life. Holidays and birthdays are going to kick ass for Zachary.

Other celebrities with famous Godparents include Nicole Richie, who had bragging rights that Michael Jackson was her Godfather.

Look out World Wide Web, Elton John is logged on! The legendary singer announced on Gaydar Radio,

“As they say, I am not a modern woman. I’ve actually entered the 21st century.”

Apparently, he also inadvertently announced that he’s had a vagina installed, which I’m sure his surrogate would’ve like to have known before she had his kid ripped out of her own.

John has recently purchased an iPad 2 so he can Skype his son every day when they aren’t together. His partner, David Furnish, said, “For someone who has steadfastly refused to get online, embrace the computer, embrace the internet, Elton got the delivery of his iPad 2 weeks ago because it has the double camera on it.”

Whoever has to explain how the iPad works to someone who has never used the internet has my sympathies. Getting my mom on Gmail is something I never want to experience again and should probably be adopted as a terrorist torture method.

John has been enjoying fatherhood and his new civil union with Furnish.

“When David and I had our civil union in Windsor, it brought us closer together,” he said. “We’d already been together 13 years. It brought us together in the most incredible way. When we had Zachary at the beginning of the year, it moved us even closer together.”

And if that wasn’t close enough, they now have the iPad to make them even closer.

How long before he gets addicted to Angry Birds?
