Not everyone is happy over the news
Ellen Degeneres is taking over for
Paula Abdul on American Idol…least of all Paula! She’s reportedly furious over the news the talk show host is filling her duties on Idol.
A source tells
Radaronline, “Privately, Paula is very upset. She’s never going to admit it publicly but this stung.
“Paula likes Ellen and she doesn’t want to say a negative word about her and she won’t.”
As
Hollyscoop previously reported, Ellen made sure to be gracious about her new gig, and wanted Paula and the fans to know she didn’t “take” it from Paula.
But that doesn’t mean Paula isn’t upset. The source continued, “But the news surprised Paula and upset her — and she had no advance warning and heard about it just like everyone else.”
Well we’d be mad too! The least the execs at Fox could do is let Paula know right before the announcement was made so that she wasn’t blind sighted! This is even more reason why we want Paula to join X Factor!
