Elle MacPherson to Return to TV

Elle MacPherson is doing more than just hanging out with Guy Ritchie these days. She’s working! Elle has just landed a role on the new CW pilot A Beautiful Life, which will also star Mischa Barton.

Elle has landed the role of Claudia, described as a tough-talking 80s supermodel who is the owner of top New York modeling agency Focus Models.

Sounds a little bit like Vanessa Williams’ role in Ugly Betty! It’s going to be fun to see Elle come out of her shell with this role, since we usually only see her as her sweet self.

You may not remember this, but Elle actually began her career as an actress, before solely focusing on modeling. She appeared in a string of movies, including The Edge, If Lucy Fell, and Batman & Robin, and also had a recurring role on Friends in the 90s. So this role really combines both of her loves!
