Elizabeth Taylor is the latest celebrity to use Twitter as a means to communicate with fans. Earlier this week she informed fans via Twitter that she's going to have a heart procedure done, and last night she gave everyone an update on her condition.
"My heart procedure went off perfectly," she posted Thursday evening. "It's like having a brand-new ticker. Thank you for your prayers and good wishes. I know they all helped."
On Tuesday night she told fans she would be checking into the hospital to undergo a "very new" procedure to improve heart function that "involves repairing my leaky valve using a clip device."
"Any prayers you happen to have lying around I would dearly appreciate," she wrote Tuesday. And fortunately it went as planned.
Glad to hear it went well, our hearts and prayers were with Elizabeth.
