I don’t know where he’s going with this one either.

George Clooney just compared himself to Elizabeth Taylor, and other than being really, really famous, I’m trying to figure out what he’s talking about.

By now you know that Clooney and his Dad Nick Clooney were arrested outside the Sudanese Embassy last week. Now for that "I'm just like Liz Taylor" bit.
Lindsay Lohan is just one embarrassing paparazzi shot away from missing her comeback window of opportunity. But folks, I think she might be on her way back up to the top. Sure, she's got a long way to go, but you gotta start somewhere. In this case, that starting point is the L.A. County Courthouse.

Lohan showed up to court this morning for a scheduled probation hearing. “She’s done it all,” Judge Stephanie Sautner said, and no, she wasn’t talking about Lindsay’s drug problem.

Remember how Lindsay Lohan was in talks to play the late Elizabeth Taylor in a Lifetime movie? Well, Apparently there is another former A-List actress who also can’t get any work, and is also vying for the same role.

Megan Fox, is also in talks to play Liz Taylor in the made-for-TV biopic.

Both Megan Fox and Lindsay are shortlisted for the role, which is bad news for Lindsay, who was hoping this role would finally be her career comeback.

Lindsay Lohan has booked her first movie role since 2010, and she will be playing Liz Taylor in a biopic about the actresses life.

I think Lindsay Lohan should really get out of the “biopic” business. Remember when she was supposed to play Victoria Gotti in that Gotti Family biopic, and then she was somehow tossed from the film?
The Lord of the Rings trilogy. The amount of time before I need an oil change. My cell phone’s battery charge. What do all of these things have in common? They are all longer than Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries.

The world wasn’t terribly surprised when Kim Kardashian announced her divorce to Kris Humphries on Monday morning.

After their $10 million dollar wedding, the two decided to try to work it out for a whole 72 days before they threw in the towel. That’s a hell of a lot of money for such a short wedding, but no worries, I’m sure E! will make it all back with the impending Kardashian Divorce Special.

This isn’t Kim’s first divorce rodeo, either. She was married to record producer Damon Thomas for four years. By Hollywood standards, that’s actually a reasonable amount of time.

But now, Kim will join the ranks of plenty of other celebs who divorced shortly after walking down the isle. Here are the shortest celebrity marriages of all time.

Elizabeth Taylor and Conrad Hilton: 7 Months: Yes, Elizabeth Taylor was married to a Hilton. Only 205 days after marrying Conrad “Nicky” Hilton, Taylor went through her first divorce. She told a California court that Hilton was “indifferent to me and used abusive language.”
For the September cover of V Magazine, Kate Winslet poses as one of her favorite icons—Elizabeth Taylor.

The magazine is releasing its ‘Heroes Issue’, which is basically celebs talking about other celebs they like. Kate Winslet likes Elizabeth Taylor. Miley Cyrus likes Joan Jett. Lady Gaga likes Lady Gaga.

Winslet worked with photographer Mario Testino for her cover. With dark brows, pale lips and a string of pearls, Winslet looks stunningly like Taylor.

In the mag, the actress says that she knew from a young age what her calling was in life:

Elizabeth Taylor ensured a grand entrance at her funeral on Thursday by leaving instructions for the service to begin 15 minutes late. Gotta love her sense of humor!

Her publicist explained: "The service was scheduled to begin at 2 pm but at Miss Taylor's request started late. Miss Taylor had left instructions that it was to begin at least 15 minutes later than publicly scheduled, with the announcement, 'She even wanted to be late for her own funeral.'"

Elizabeth was laid to rest at Forest Lawn in Glendale on Thursday close to the late Michael Jackson. The one-hour service was officiated by Rabbi Jerry Cutler and included a reading by Colin Farrell (yes that Colin), apparently they were close friends.

Her $11,000 casket was covered with gardenias, violets and lily of the valley.

A public service in her honor is expected to he held at a later date. May you rest in peace Liz, you won't be forgotten.
