Edward Norton

From dropping out of college after 6 months, to creating the Apple company at age 20, to being fired from his own company, co-founding Pixar, to returning to Apple and turning it into the revolutionary technology company that it has become today, his life is worthy of being documented on film.
Many great men and women have had their lives turned into biopics. Hollywood loves a good success story and I don't know anyone more deserving of his own film than Steve Jobs.
Every time you talk on your iPhone, buy music from iTunes, type on your Macbook Pro, or enjoy watching Pixar's "Finding Nemo" for the umpteenth time, you can thank Steve Jobs.
So that begs the questions, which actor would best play Steve Jobs in a film about his own life?

Edward Norton, who was slated to return in one of the lead roles of Bruce Banner in the film, has just been fired! The film also stars huge names like Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson. Production president of Marvel Studios Kevin Fiege released a statement to website HitFix saying:
“We have made the decision to not bring Ed Norton back to portray the title role of Bruce Banner in ‘The Avengers,’” Feige told the site. “Our decision is definitely not one based on monetary factors, but instead rooted in the need for an actor who embodies the creativity and collaborative spirit of our other talented cast members. ‘The Avengers’ demands players who thrive working as part of an ensemble, as evidenced by Robert, Chris H, Chris E, Sam, Scarlett, and all of our talented casts. We are looking to announce a name actor who fulfills these requirements, and is passionate about the iconic role in the coming weeks.”
But Norton’s rep responded with a statement of his own, saying:
“This offensive statement from Kevin Feige at Marvel is a purposefully misleading, inappropriate attempt to paint our client in a negative light,” the rep told the site. “Here are the facts: two months ago, Kevin called me and said he wanted Edward to reprise the role of Bruce Banner in ‘The Avengers.’ He told me it would be his fantasy to bring Edward on stage with the rest of the cast at [Comic-Con] and make it the event of the convention. When I said that Edward was definitely open to this idea, Kevin was very excited and we agreed that Edward should meet with [director] Joss Whedon to discuss the project. Edward and Joss had a very good meeting (confirmed by Feige to me) at which Edward said he was enthusiastic at the prospect of being a part of the ensemble cast.”
No word on who will replace Norton in the role, but insiders say the decision must be made quickly with ComiCon coming up this month!

The story follows the wife of a convicted arsonist, played by Norton, who seduces a correctional officer (De Niro) while her husband is up for parole.
The film is based on a play by Angus MacLachlan. The newly-formed Mimran Schur Pictures is behind the film, which is their first venture as a new company. John Curran is on board to direct.
The Score didn’t exactly live up to everyone’s expectations, so we’re hoping this re-teaming between Norton and De Niro will be more successful this time around.

Norton worked with Sony Pictures to shoot the behind-the-scenes look at how Obama was elected. Sony President Steve Bersch says of the film, "This remarkable film gives us a unique behind-the-scenes look at a truly transformative event. The filmmakers have done a beautiful job of creating a compelling narrative, and we are proud to be able to make the film available to the global market.”
Edward Norton released a statement in response to his project, saying, "Obama's election was, clearly, a global event which people all over the world felt deeply about on both political and emotional levels. From the start, it was very important to us to share this film with as broad an international audience as possible and we're really thrilled to be partnered with Sony in trying to achieve this because no company has more experience or reach in both the world markets and home video.”
The film is expected to air on HBO this year! We can’t wait!

Well, it looks like Barack and Norton both got their wish. The documentary shadows Obama during his two-and-a-half year presidential campaign.
Norton says of the piece and of our soon-to-be president: “Senator Obama’s history-making race for the White House has given our film a perfect framework to explore the pulse of the country at this vital moment in our history. We believe this film will capture a tipping point in American history when a new generation of leadership emerged and old prejudices were finally vaulted over.”

Norton says, "We're making a historical record and not something to play a role in the election, so we have an agreement that this is something we won't talk a lot about or publicize until the election is over. I can't really comment on our access to Obama because it's part of our arrangement with the campaign, but it's a fascinating thing to be able to be documenting. We'll have an opportunity to talk about that process when it's all unfolded but we kind of have to stay off the record about it until it's all resolved."
No matter what the outcome in the election is, this is a documentary we're sure a lot of Americans will be interested in seeing.

Liv Tyler who also stars in the film stepped out on the green carpet, but decided to go blue in a hot Stella McCartney short dress. The film also stars Bruce Banner, William Hurt, General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross and Tim Roth.
The movie is a superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character the Hulk. After the 2003 film Hulk, Marvel Studios reacquired the rights to the character, and writer Zak Penn began work on a reboot that would be much closer to the comics and the television series.
When Edward Norton signed on to star in the film, he rewrote the script, severing all ties to its predecessor by retelling the original story in flashbacks and revelation. We also hear that the director aimed to make the monsters look more realistic and frightening.
The movie doesn’t hit theatres until June 13, 2008, until then check out “The Incredible Hulk” movie trailer below.

He says, "I think the studios are doing their part. Not just because it's the right thing to do, but also because it's cost effective. They need to look at the way films get made. There's a lot of waste in the way we make films."
Norton will also be narrating an environmental series called "Strange Days" on Planet Earth, which will airs on PBS tonight!
