Eddie Murphy Doesn't Wanna Meet His Daughter

Dad of the year(sarcasm) Eddie Murphy refuses to meet his daughter with Mel B. Why would he wanna meet a child he was even denying was his? The child is better off not knowing her dad denied her when she was born.

Brown's legal team is working really hard to work out some sort of visitation rights for the child, but everything has been put on hold because Murphy has expressed that he has no interest in meeting his daughter.

A source told The Sun, "Mel was furious...She had been planning to take Angel to the courthouse to meet her dad for the first time."

Sadly, the child is going to grow up and know that her dad denied her because they live in the public eye. I guess this is one of the downfalls of being a celebrity. It might really negatively affect the children, but nothing a little therapy and a new car can’t fix(sarcasm).

Lala, you are absolutely right when you say "you can't force someone to be a parent..." but as adults we have a choice to make a baby (then we have to take care of it emotionally and financially)or not to make a baby( and live free of all obligations)...and he obviously a selfish sob who did not use protection when he should have. Mel B, I love you and admire you,,, I used to really live eddie's movies but now I don't.

You can force a man to pay child support (sometimes), but you can't force him to be there for the kid emotionally. I think Eddie is making a mistake he will one day regret, but Scary needs to just accept that. I would not bring my baby to court to force a meeting. And I would not force my child down Eddie's throat. The little girl is better off without him if that is his attitude. Sad.

Tasha, I agree. You can't force a man to be in a childs life nor a woman neither. But like CMartin said, there is more to this story than is being told. Mel B. lost all respect I had for her when she continued to keep this in the limelight for her own publicity and not worrying about how this will come back and haunt little Iris. If Eddie doesn't want to see Iris, then it would be known. He isn't the first nor will he be the last man-Hollywood star not to take interest in their kid. Regardless, It is sad that he doesn't want to be part of the child's life because of the mistakes of the mother. They each need to take a big breathe and go to therapy or something in order to make things work for Iris's sake.

With all due respect, this is a personal matter and I don't understand the need to drag this situation out in public. Mel B needs some other type of publicity and she needs to stop using this situation because I think that Angel might be just as upset that her mother used her as her father's denial. Regarding Eddie, I think that if his ex-wife allows the kids to know their sister then that is good, but Eddie...I still have respect for him as an actor, but being an actor and being a man are two different things. Just like being a Spice Girl is not the same as being a good mom. Both of them have their faults, but she needs to shut up because there are better issues on the news to talk about then her personal satisfaction. My only comment is, I think mel b tricked him too. I think she saw dollar signs when they hooked up and because the spice girls won't be big enough to break her off like eddie murphy can. But still I think eddie should at least meet his daughter and visit her too. Mel b tried to hang on the ddie that's why she even kept her pregnancy thinking eddie would come back. This will haunt eddie murphy, believe me when iris is grown and he wants to be with his children then it will be too late.
