Eclipse

This seriously made my day-- Eclipse is up for like a ton of Razzie nominations.

Yep, they’re the awards that call attention to the “worst” in the biz. Eclipse, along with their main actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, are targeted pretty hardcore in the nominations.

Let’s hope these Razzie folks have padlocks on their doors, because Twihards are about to be outraged. Eclipse is up for Worst Picture, Worst Director, Worst Screenplay and Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel.

Check out the rest of the categories below…..hilarious! This ought to make Kristen scowl for the rest of 2011.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is still months away from being released, but Twilight fever never dies down.

EW just released the photo of Edward and Bella on their honeymoon night during the infamous sex scene. Can you imagine how uncomfortable it must be to have a camera lens in your face when you're pretending to do it with your on screen and off screen girlfriend?!

And Rob agrees! "It's always awkward, in a way, doing it with anybody," Robert Pattinson told MTV at the Golden Globes. "It really depends on how it's staged and stuff. It's like doing Twister."

But director Bill Condon was just worried about not letting Twihard fans down. “You want to live up to people’s expectations,” director Bill told Entertainment Weekly.

He added, “People take [the movie and characters] personally. When you are interpreting something you have a certain vision of how it will be. Sometimes it is a liberal interpretation, but you hope you get to the essence of something.”

Breaking Dawn Part 1 is set to be released on November 18th--but I'm sure you Twihard fans already have your calendars marked.
Don't MISS out on Breaking News!
The People’s Choice nominations are in, and—big shocker—Eclipse leads the pack with the most nods.

The film and its gorgeous cast are the leaders with eight nominations-- Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner each earned “favorite movie actor” nominations, while Kristen Stewart is a candidate for “favorite movie actress.”

Don’t know how she managed to sneak in there! The three of them are nominated for “favorite on-screen team,” and both Rob and Kristen are nominated in the “favorite movie stars under 25? category.

She’s so lucky she’s a part of the Twilight franchise, and that she has fans who think she’s a good actress! She acts about the same in the movies as in real life, which isn’t that amazing if you ask me.

But hey, at least she’s not getting Oscar nods. This is just the People’s Choice Awards, which doesn’t really count anyway!

Expect the vampires to clean up this year, since New Moon won a ton of awards at last year’s show!

Check out the nominations here.
Animated movies make so much money at the theaters that they usually give all other movies opening on the same weekend a run for their money.

'Despicable Me' opened at the top of the box office with an estimated $60.1 million this weekend. That's a lot of money!

Despicable Me was the first 3-D animated movie from Universal Pictures and we're sure they are gonna make many more now that they know it's box office gold.

"Thirty (million) would have been a win for the studio — because it's a new creative idea, we really didn't know what we had, so we backed in saying $30 (million)," said Nikki Rocco, head of distribution for Universal. "I would never have said $50 million-plus."

The movie stars Steve Carell as the voice of Gru, Russell Brand, Jason Segel and Julie Andrews.

"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," fell down one spot taking the number two spot at the box office with with $33.35 million. Eclipse made a total of $237 million during its first 12 days.
Surprise! Surprise! Eclipse made a killing at the box office over the weekend.

The movie made an estimated $121.4 million from Wednesday to Friday, reports distributor Summit Entertainment.

The six-day total brought in a whopping $198.9 million.

Although it did really well, it did not break the box office records. Spider-Man 2 earned $180 million in its first six days in 2004 on Independence Day.

The first installment of Twilight brought in $88 million and New Moon raked in $179 million in its first six days.

Judging by initial estimates, Eclipse would take the number 3 spot of highest six-day openers. The Dark Knight had brought in $222 million and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen made $215 million.

Nikki Reed is involved in one heck of an intense scene in the upcoming Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

Hollyscoop was on the red carpet at the Eclipse premiere where Nikki talked about the graphic scene that took a lot of time and training to shoot.

“It was kind of a violent scene. We shot quite a few very physically demanding scenes and emotionally demanding scenes," Nikki told us about the graphic flashback scene that shows how she becomes a vampire.

“We trained for it, we were like athletes out there training for a couple hours a day six days a week. It was really intense,“ she added.

So how do you prepare yourself for that kind of scene? It’s all in the director’s hands.

“David Slade is really, really phenomenal and so talented. We are so flattered that he wanted to be apart of this. I think that is how I had faith in him that was my approach to this. It would all be okay if I just relied on David Slade,” said Nikki.

Eclipse finally hits theatres on June 30, but make sure to grab advance tickets because it's sure to sell out like hotcakes!

Kristen Stewart has on numerous occasions complained about the attention and fame that the Twilight franchise has brought her.

But she was singing a different tune last night at the Eclipse movie premiere.

Red Carpet Photos from Eclipse Movie Premiere

When asked whether she would do the Twilight franchise all over again, knowing how it changed her life, she told us, “Yes, definitely!”

Kristen has made it very clear that she is uncomfortable with all the attention she gets. And it usually shows during interviews and on red carpets.

She tells Hollyscoop that the worst part of fame is, “Just like relaxing and being yourself I guess. Sometimes when you are overwhelmed you betray yourself and that kills me.”

Imagine all the screaming fans that never go away! Imagine having to sneak around 24/7 going through secret doorways in hotels. Guess that life as a celebrity isn't as great as it seems.

You ready to see Rob Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart at the Eclipse premiere?

Stay tuned because you will be able to see the premiere live without actually going anywhere.

Who said vampires are out? Twi-Hard fans have been camped out outside of Nokia Plaza for the premiere of Eclipse, which won’t be until Thursday night.

Fans started gathering outside the Nokia Plaza on Monday morning in hopes to get a good spot for the premiere. All these Twi-Hards want is a chance to get a glimpse of Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

Unfortunately for them, they are going to be relocated on Wednesday in order for the crew to start setting up for the premiere. Don’t worry; the crazy fans will get wristbands to be able to see the cast at the premiere.

Don't any of these people work? Camping outside for 4 days for one movie just sounds ridiculous to us!
