Dylan McDermott to Star in New TNT Drama

TNT is going to be the new channel to watch this year. Dylan McDermott is starring in a brand new show they’re adding to their lineup called The Line. It’s about an undercover crack team of police officers who are so covert that some of their colleagues are even in the dark about what they do. McDermott stars as Carter Shaw, who has lost everything because of his job, including his wife.

Jerry Bruckheimer is on board as the executive producer. As you may know, Jerry has had a lot of experience with TV dramas, as he’s also produced Without A Trace and CSI.

TNT is slowly becoming a big contender for great shows. The Closer starring Kyra Sedgwick was just named the number one cable series of all time, averaging more than 5 million viewers. Let’s hope Dylan and his cast of undercover cops can do the same!
Dylan McDermott and Wife Finalize Divorce

The Practice hottie Dylan McDermott and his wife of 13 years officially ended their marriage yesterday.

Court papers reveal that the divorce is now finalized and they can go their separate ways. Dylan, 47, and Shiva, 39, filed the papers last summer over "irreconcilable differences" and have been apart ever since.

The L.A. Superior Court didn't offer any information as to the arrangements for their two daughters, 12 and 3, but he did originally request joint custody.

Ironically, Dylan, who played a lawyer on TV, decided not to hire one for the case. He went ahead and acted on his own behalf when it came to the legal stuff. Was he trying to save some money?
