Dwayne Johnson Retires The Rock

Dwayne Johnson, known better as The Rock, has decided to ditch his nickname. We'll probably all still refer to him as that, but he's looking to reinvent himself in movies.

"I'm aware of everything that comes with that nickname, and I just think there's a lot more you can do without it," he says. "But I wanted it to happen naturally, from 'The Rock' to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson to 'Dwayne Johnson."

Nice, natural progression, eh? Dwayne has Get Smart coming out in two weeks, and another movie in the works, so we'll see if this name change is a career booster for him.
