Michael told Dr. Drew Pinsky: "It’s a move in a direction where she’s working. If she’s happy with it, I’m happy with it.”

Lindsay’s recent trouble in Hawaii is her latest run-in with drama. Most of us have lost a wallet or a purse at some point in our lives, but most of us don’t keep probation papers in them.
Lohan was worried her ID and documentation would be stolen when her purse went missing, and since she’s due back in court this week, being stuck in Hawaii wouldn’t be the awesome tropical vacation it sounds like.

Dr. Drew has made a career out of treating/commenting on celebrities, but when it came to Arnold and Maria Shriver, he seemed genuinely saddened by what happened to them.
“I wish they could stay together,” he told Hollyscoop at the American Idol season finale on Wednesday. “I think the fact that we even have conversations where we say

Dr. Drew Pinsky discussed Sheen’s claim that he’s just playing a role, saying, “It’s one thing to say you’re playing a role, it’s another thing to believe that’s who you are,” Pinsky said on his new HLN talk show.
“He needs some medication,” Dr. Drew said. Specifically, he said Sheen should be taking a medicine that would treat the manic phase of his bipolar disorder.
I love how Charlie Sheen repeatedly behaves like a lab chimp throwing a tantrum, and Dr. Drew discusses it so calmly. You see, the subject is now displaying symptoms of withdrawal. He needs medication. For now, just toss an ex-porn star in there, it should hold him over.
Celebrities have been put off by Dr. Drew’s comments in the past, most notably Lindsay Lohan. Last October, Pinsky told Hollyscoop, “She’s in a good program now and she needs to just stay there and follow direction and just do what is asked of her.”
After being offended by his advice, Lohan expressed her discontent by not sitting next to him at the MTV Movie Awards. Ha! That’ll show him!
Pinsky then apologized to Lohan, via Hollyscoop, saying, “I hope I have not caused you any distress.”
Similarly, Sheen has expressed he doesn’t need Dr. Drew’s help, saying, “I think me and Pinsky should jump in the ring, and I can show him how unstable these fists really are.”
If the porn star doesn’t work, toss in a banana, too.

Earlier this week Dr. Drew said he was sure Brad and Angie were going to have a "nuclear" split mostly because she's a "heroin addict" and Brad was super insensitive about his divorce from Jennifer Aniston.
Dr. Drew: Angelina and Brad Headed Towards Nuclear Split
But now he regrets his comments saying, “These comments were taken completely out of context (and) they were never meant to be printed."
“I do not know Brad or Angelina (and) I certainly don’t want to be saying things that could be perceived as hurtful for them, or harmful for them in any way. I’m deeply concerned and apologetic and apologize for these comments that were taken out of context.”
Dr. Drew is pretty reputable but maybe he needs to stop making public statements about people he's never treated. Just a thought Doc.

He's pretty sure that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are going to have a huge fallout and it's going to be "nuclear."
Dr. Drew, who may be asking for a lawsuit with his comments, told the Huffington Post, "Just add up a couple things. There's no such thing as 'I was a heroin addict.' That doesn't exist in nature. Something is going on with [her] addiction. Or she's in recovery. And I don't see any evidence that's the case. So we've got one person who's a heroin addict. Which is a chronic lifelong condition, period."
He went on to talk about Brad's insensitive split from Jennifer Aniston. "We have another person who has said things like, "Well, Jennifer [Aniston] was into long-term relationships, that's just her way of looking at things." I mean, that demeaning attitude towards other people's emotions."
He added, "Now put those two people together and you have got a really volatile situation. And they're constantly creating things to weld themselves together. Which is only going to serve to make a more nuclear eruption. There will be some sort of meltdown that will be phenomenal when it does happen."
Earlier this year Brad and Angelina successfully sued The Globe after they published a story about them splitting up. Watch your back Dr. Drew, they're sue happy!

But the doc has finally weighed in, and I, for one, totally agree with his statement! Dr. Drew spoke with Access Hollywood over the weekend and said her behavior is a direct result of what’s going on with her parents’ divorce.
Miley Cyrus' Bong Video is Great for Business
“We know that she’s going to be acting out now because her family’s in trouble, so it’s not unusual to see depression manifesting as various kinds of acting out behaviors,” he said.
“Adolescents don’t get depressed the way adults do. They don’t get sad and cry and withdraw. They often act out and become irritable, they act out with drugs and… get in trouble and she seems to be suffering.”
Similar to what Dr. Drew said about Lindsay, he compared Miley to his own daughter being in that kind of situation.
“If I had a child that was doing that or if I was advising a parent, I would say get professional help immediately,” he said.

“This cat is out of the bag. This is a child who is in trouble and who is suffering and this is her way of trying to manage that. Get professional help.”
The sad part is that Miley is just going about her business as if nothing ever happened. She was spotted in New Orleans over the weekend shooting her new movie and also meeting the head coach of the Saints Sean Payton at their game Sunday.
I guess it’s good that she’s concentrating on work, but she needs to address what happened.

TMZ stalked the doc at a restaurant yesterday and asked if it was a good idea for Lilo to be getting work from rehab.
Lindsay Lohan Scores Work from Rehab
He responded, “Going past [to the sober house] is something she earned so it’s a great sign.”
But he added, “Going back to work too soon is not great for her. It goes both ways.”
“It’s all great, she’s doing what she needs to do in treatment and she’s earning the right to that,” Dr. Drew said. “But don’t go back to work too fast.”
Lohan Family Reunion Underway
“That’s what takes celebrities down,” he added.
“This is the beginning of the distractions that will take her away from her treatment. The treatment’s got to be the priority of her life for the next three to six months,” he explained. “She should be focused on her treatment—not on her work.”
Doing little bits and pieces of work here and there I understand,” said the doc. “She’s got financial issues, but if that takes over, it’s not going to go well.”
Those aren’t the only “issues” she has! We agree with Dr. Drew! Is a photoshoot really that important that she needs to leave rehab? I think not!

"Demi should be commended for having gone for treatment and help," Dr. Drew told MTV. "Just because somebody has a medical problem, we shouldn't, in any way, judge or condemn them. We should really acknowledge and really support them for being a good role model for taking care of themselves."
Demi's Camp Pissed About Drug Claims
Dr. Drew also made a point that unless Demi has a drug or alcohol addiction, she’s not actually in “rehab.”
"It sounds like she may have been admitted to a psychiatric hospital because the kinds of issues that are being discussed are around depression, cutting — really psychiatric issues," Dr. Drew said. "Unless she was doing drugs, she's not going to rehab. Rehab is for chemical dependency exclusively."
Inside Demi Lovato's Hard Partying: Cocaine & Alcohol
Drew went on to basically bash the Disney machine for cranking out stars and not allowing them to have a normal life.
"Young kids that don't have a chance to really go through the usual developmental milestones and develop with their peers and to have a simple life, it can be problematic for [some of them]. It pulls them out of the usual experiences that kids need to grow up," he said. "They tend to always blame themselves and internalize whatever is going on in their life. So now you do that to a 16-year-old, and you've got real trouble."
Dr. Drew doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Demi to get back to work any time soon too.
"The important thing for Demi when she has finished treatment, whatever treatment it is she has received, is that she have adequate and thorough follow-up care, follows the direction of her team of professionals and that she doesn't return to work too prematurely," he said.
"The number-one reason my patients that are celebrities get in trouble is they go back to work because they make a lot of money for themselves and other people. It's very gratifying, but it takes them out of their treatment."
We highly doubt Demi is ready to kiss her big paychecks goodbye just stay healthy. That lifestyle is the only thing she knows. But we hope she hears this advice from Dr. Drew—it’s actually really insightful!
