Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his 20 year-old son Andre Young Jr. after he was found dead at their Woodland Hills home this past weekend.
According to MTV News, Young was discovered in his bed at 10:30 AM by his mother, who attempted to wake him. He was unresponsive, so paramedics were called to the scene. The toxicology report has not yet been completed, so the cause of his death is still unknown.
The only information available is that Young was out partying with friends the night before. His mother said she had even heard him in his bedroom at 5:30 AM when he'd returned home. Police do not suspect foul play.
"Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son," his rep Lori Earl says in a statement. "Please respect his family's grief and privacy at this time."
