The entire city of Palos Verdes is up in arms over Donald Trump's sky high ficus trees on the property of Trump National Golf Club...okay, that's a little exaggeration. The hedges are only 10 ft. high, but they are illegal, and there are hundreds of them.
The hedges were planted to screen the driving range from nearby homes, but neighbors complained that some of them blocked their multimillion-dollar ocean views. I don't blame them!
The homes up on those cliffs are ridick! I'd rather have an ocean view and have a few broken windows, than nothing at all. "I wish they could be out by Christmas, that would make a great Christmas present," Mayor Doug Stern said this week.
Trump says, "The City Council should be ashamed of its decision," "It's very sad that the town is willing to destroy this beautiful hedge. There's no plant as beautiful as the ficus." And there's no hair as beautiful as yours, Donald.
