Yesterday, derober.com had a 'receipt' signed by Donald Trump indicating that he had tipped a restaurant server $10,000!
Billy, the waiter, claimed that Trump pulled him and asked him what the largest tip he had ever received. After Trump left and Billy went back to the table he saw a $10,000 tip.
All this would be very nice if it were true. Donald Trump is denying the reports that he left a $10,000 tip on an $82 dollar meal. He insists that the restaurant is doing it for publicity.
Trump told PageSix, "This was done by the stupid restaurant to get publicity. It's not my signature."
Who would leave a $10,000 tip on an $82 bill? That would be nuts even if they are Donald Trump. That's just wreckless spending. But, I must admit its great publicity on behalf of the restaurant, The Buffalo Club. If you didn't know of it before, now you do!
