Don Imus Has Done It Again!

Don Imus
Oh-Oh Don Imus has done it again! While discussing the arrest of Dallas Cowboy Adam "Pacman" Jones, Imus made some comments that he really shouldn't have and now he is quickly trying to cover his behind before he gets into trouble again. If y'all remember Imus was fired from CBS in 2007 after making racist comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team.

Yesterday on his WABC radio show Imus asked, "What color is he?" in regards to "Pacman" Jones and the announcer replied, "African-American," to which Imus said: "There you go. Now we know."

Naturally, Imus is trying to cover his behind by saying that he was trying to "make a sarcastic point.

"What people should be outraged about is that they arrest blacks for no reason," he said. "I mean, there's no reason to arrest this kid six times."

Do you guys think Imus is being honest or is he just full of it?

I think he said it that way on purpose to prove a point.

We have to keep these folks honest, and Don Imus should be NO exception. Maybe, he was being "sarcastic", but he either continues to try to re-write the history of his "nappy hos" comment in order to escape further guilt, or he is a closet RACIST who continues to be INFATUATED with a person's skin color! Why the hell is this guy not allowed to ask questions or practice freedom of speech? Maybe people need to stop being so overly sensitive about color and then it wouldn't be a big deal. Lay off the guy, he already paid his dues when he got fired. Stop monitoring every thought he has and every word that comes out of his mouth. He's not perfect and there's a bit of ignorance to him - but he's not intentionally trying to hurt anyone!

I know this is old but he is a newscaster and as such, shouldn't he have already known what color the man was? Didn't he do any background info. about the story before talking about it?
