DJ AM had a lot of projects in the works before his untimely death, and one of them was a major shoe deal with Nike.
Nike and AM had teamed up to work on a series of limited edition kicks, and a design had been finalized and approved by AM right before his death, but Nike has now suspended plans to release it.
TMZ spoke to a rep for the brand, who said that AM had been working with them for months on a limited edition line of "Nike Dunks" emblazoned with his own logo.
Nike is now in talks with AM's family to determine the next step in terms of marketing the product and releasing the shoes.
AM was said to be a huge Nike fan and already had over 700 pairs in his collection.
Unfortunately AM was found dead in his Manhattan apartment last Friday afternoon and will never get to see the final result of his hard work.
