DJ AM has been released from the hospital in Georgia where he was receiving treatment for the burns he suffered in the tragic plane crash last week.
"While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide," his reps say in a statement. "We ask that you continue respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends."
His pal Travis Barker is expected to be released in the next two weeks. Travis' pal Jermaine Dupri visited him in the hospital last Sunday and said that he's recovering well, and it's just a matter of healing from this point on.
