DJ AM's Estate Sues Jet Co. for Wrongful Death

DJ AM’s estate has just sued for wrongful death against the charter jet company Adam Goldstein was on when it suddenly crashed in September 2008, and burst into flames.

According to legal papers obtained by TMZ, the estate blames Clay Lacy Aviation for AM’s death. The papers read: "the crash ultimately caused Adam Goldstein's death."

DJ AM's Death Ruled Accidental
September 29, 2009
The New York City Medical Examiner has just determined the cause of DJ AM’s death.

According to TMZ, the cause of death has been ruled acute intoxication” due to the combined effects of cocaine, oxycodone, hydrocodone (Vicodin), Ativan, Klonopin, Xanax, Benadryl and Levamisole (a drug used to cut cocaine with).

This cause of death is categorized as accidental by means of substance abuse.

MTV Moving Forward with DJ AM Reality Series

When DJ AM passed away, MTV execs were left with hours and hours of footage from his docu-series Gone too Far and didn't know whether or not it would be appropriate to air it.

Gone too Far is an “Intervention” style series, with AM playing a sober and experienced guide for troubled addicts.

MTV wasn't sure they were going to air it after he passed because AM was supposed to serve a sober coach for these addicts.

Nicole Richie has stayed relatively mum on the subject of her ex fiancé DJ AM's death, but everyone has their own way of dealing with loss.

Nicole Richie, Lindsay Lohan and John Mayer were among some of the mourners that gathered at a memorial service for DJ AM yesterday at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

Nike Suspends DJ AM's Shoe Line

DJ AM had a lot of projects in the works before his untimely death, and one of them was a major shoe deal with Nike.

Nike and AM had teamed up to work on a series of limited edition kicks, and a design had been finalized and approved by AM right before his death, but Nike has now suspended plans to release it.

A memorial has been set for this Thursday to honor the life of Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein. According to MTV, the memorial will take place at the Palladium in Hollywood, a venue Adam had DJ’d many times during his life. In fact, the Palladium was the first place he played following the plane crash he survived last year.

DJ AM Died With Pills in His Mouth

We've just gotten new information surrounding the death of DJ AM. AM aka: Adam Goldstein died with eight undigested OxyContin pills in his stomach and another in his mouth.

AM took a bunch of anti anxiety and pain killers right after each other, which has promoted speculation that he committed suicide.

A law enforcement source told People magazine: “He wanted to die. He was going unconscious when he took the last one. He didn't even swallow it.”
