Dina Lohan attended the “Sephora Celebrates Ten Years Of Gorgeous” event in NYC with daughter
Lindsay Lohan. Hollyscoop talked to Dina about her daughters relationship with
Samantha Ronson and her reaction to ex husband
Michael Lohan's alleged love child.
In regards to Michael's alleged love child, Dina told Hollyscoop.com, “It's just so long ago. I haven't been with him for 12 years and before that he was incarcerated for 8. I got married very young so I've had sole custody of my kids for so long,
I feel bad for the little girl, but he made a mistake and the woman knew he was married."
She added, "I wouldn't date someone that was married, that's not who I am, that's a moral thing. That's how I was raised so it is what it is. It's not the little girls fault. “
In regards to her children meeting their possible stepsister, she said, “That's their decision."
Dina Lohan spoke about her initial reaction when the news broke saying: “It was sad. Because I knew it hurt my kids. I mean things happen and people have to just deal with it and it really hurt me for my kids to have to deal with it, but
I just wish people were more honest and would have told my kids before it hit the press and it didn't happen.”
Speaking of Michael Lohan, he has
taken A DNA test and is currently waiting for results to determine whether or not he really is her daughter Ashley's father.
In regards to her daughter’s romantic relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson, Dina said, “I love Samantha. She's like a child to me. And Lindsay I love, so they’re great friends and as long as my daughter is happy and healthy it is what it is.”
