Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel's mother has confirmed her son's off-screen romance with Freida Pinto.

The couple, who have been dodging romance rumors for months, were reportedly caught kissing last week in Israel after Dev flew into town to see Freida on the set of her new movie Miral.
