\'Desperate Housewives\' All Over But The Crying
The ladies played their final poker game last night.

A highly anticipated and highly secretive two-hour season finale of Desperate Housewives wrapped the series up in a bow last night. The finale offered a glimpse into the women’s future a la flash forward.

(Spoiler Alert: if you don’t want to find out what happens, stop reading!)

It turns out everyone leaves Wisteria Lane.

The episode saw a dramatic conclusion of the murder trial of Bree (Marcia Cross). Long story short, Bree walked free. Gaby (Eva Longoria) tried – unsuccessfully - to confess to save Carlos, who actually did it. Still, things worked out in the end.

Bree and Trip (Scott Bakula) end up together and move away. She joins a club for conservative women and gets elected to the state legislature in Kentucky.

In Gaby’s (Eva Longoria) world, she and Carlos decided to bury the hatchet… sort of.

After being promoted to the VIP Sales at Cumberly’s, Gaby starts her own personal shopping website with the help of her hunk. The venture turns into her own HSN show.

Gaby and Carlos “argued happily ever after” in a mansion in California.

Lynette (Felicity Huffman) got thrown for a loop when Tom (Doug Savant) said he’d be filing divorce papers. But, fret not, they got back together in the end.

After landing a CEO position, she and Tom move in to a New York penthouse overlooking Central Park.

Not to mention Mrs. McCluskey dies, Susan has a grandchild and Renee (Vanessa Williams) gets married.

Susan (Teri Hatcher) welcomed a new housewife to continue the legacy before vacating Wisteria Lane. Secrets were revealed about the new woman before the cut. Though the show won’t go on, the drama will surely continue somewhere in the desperate universe.
