Dennis Hopper
Actor Dennis Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. As Hollyscoop previously reported, he was admitted to a hospital in New York earlier this month to treat dehydration.

But now he has a much more serious problem on his hands. According to the AP, Hopper has decided to cancel a project he’s currently involved with to concentrate on getting treatment.

Dennis was originally supposed to be part of an exhibition of his artwork and photography at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne. Called "Dennis Hopper and the New Hollywood," which celebrates "the work and life of an extraordinary filmmaker, artist and key figure in the evolution of Americas cultural scene from the 1950s to today."

Hopper is currently being treated through a special program at USC. His manager Sam Maydew said in a statement, "We're hoping for the best."

We wish Dennis the best through this very difficult time. Visit Popeater.com to see pictures and video of Dennis Hopper throughout his career.

I hope he gets better soon. It really sucks when getting sick interferes with your life's plans. I'm sure it has happened to all of us.
